I’m not sure if we’ve ever seen this before. A critter chewing up bougainvilleas. Here is a picture of a “torch glow” bougainvillea stem that has been ravaged by a caterpillar. Worms and caterpillars have been very active this summer, but to see them on bougainvilleas is a little unusual. Use Thuricide, Dipel dust, or Spinosad for best and safest control!
