If you’re like us, you’ve bout had enough summer-right? Well looks like we’re getting close to those cooler fall nights and soon cooler days. The last couple of cloudy drizzly days have been a nice break. The plants appreciate it too. So since we feel like fall planting is just around the corner, we’re dipping our toes into bringing in some new plants and fall offerings. This week we’ll get a few fall veggies in-broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower…. Onion sets and garlic have been shipped and should arrive any day, and a sneak peak at petunias will show up as well. Our dwarf citrus order has been placed and we expect that shipment about the end of September. So it has been a hot summer (what else is new) but we believe the light at the end of the tunnel is not an oncoming train but the autumn sun shining on our gardens!
We also have begun to stock new landscape plants, vines, trees, and more. As you can see in the picture our parking lot is full and we’ll be getting it into the nursery as fast as we can, or you can come buy it all and save us the trouble!!
As always please be sure you’ve prepared your garden soil well before you begin to plant! Harper’s Garden Preparation Guide
